Antwerp

Antwerp Centraal, the main railway station. It can double as a palace or a cathedral. I was gobsmacked.

Antwerp's harbour:

the castle and Lange Wapper, the giant who guards the harbour. Two Liliputian citizens are standing at his feet checking out his crotch and Caroline is trying to see what they find so fascinating.

I took this pic standing in the courtyard with my back to the house, looking at the garden. It is a walled garden with a formal layout. Statues, fountains, stone benches, walks, arbours, very posh. The old boy obviously raked it in.
